Our ordinary members are elected for their outstanding achievements in science, arts, and governance. Ordinary members are natural persons who have successfully completed an academic education and who enjoy exceptional standing in society as a result of work performed, publications or for comparable reasons.

			Every natural person can be elected as honorary member on grounds of outstanding scientific work. We currently count 38 Nobel Prize Laureates among our honorary members.

			The following honours can be awarded to persons

			Our Delegates are the national representatives of the Academy. They promote the Academy and its activities nationally and review nominations of candidates from their country.
