International Mozart Competition

From 1st until 11th February the International Mozart Competition, one of the leading music competitions throughout the world, took place in Salzburg. During this time young musicians from all over the world had the chance to demonstrate their skills in the classes violin and piano facing an international jury. The final concert of the class piano with the three best candidates out of 25 took place on 11th February. The European Academy donated the special Prize of the class violin, the special Prize of the class piano (Ms. Saskia Giorgini) as well as the third prize of the class piano (Ms. Julia Kocubian). Ms. Yonhee Yang was awarded the second prize, Ms. Saskia Giorgini was awarded the first prize of the class piano.
